windream GmbH achieves more than 20 percent growth in sales in first half-year 2009

Excellent business result confirms continuous growth

windream GmbH has achieved a 20 percent growth in sales in the first half-year 2009. The number of incoming orders has even been higher. The excellent business result in the first half-year 2009 confirms our continuous growth.

The windream Managing Board emphasizes that different reasons were responsible for this extraordinary business development. On the one hand, more and more customers request windream workflow IT-solutions for business process management, and, on the other hand, systems for automised e-mail archiving, too. Regular customers, which have been working with windream for a longer period of time already, have not only increased their number of licences substantially, but have also invested into further products of the windream portfolio.

windream GmbH has also achieved a continously increasing turnover with distribution partners. Additionally, more and more customers want to invest into IT-systems with which they can further optimise their business processes and thus increase competitiveness. We observe a substantial market potential in this sector, from which the company has especially gained profit in the first half-year of 2009.

New customers

Besides regular customers, a high number of new customers of different branches has also contributed to the execellent business result. These are internationally renowned companies like e.g. MAN Ferrostaal Automotive GmbH, Rhätische Bahn AG (a Suisse railroad operator), Hettich Management Service GmbH, NATENCO Natural Energy Corporation GmbH, Stadtwerke Göttingen AG or Watt Germany GmbH.

For windream’s Managing Director Roger David, one reason for the great company success can be seen in the windream product portfolio, which could be extended continuously in the past and which has always been focused on the market demands and the needs of windream customers. For Roger David, the results are more than only satisfying: “Due to the bad economic forecast, we have formerly calculated a rather ‘subdued’ business development. However, after we have achieved a never seen record result in the first half-year, we can now already predict that also the complete business year 2009 will be very successful.”
