DMS Expo: Many visitors on the windream stand again this year

This year’s DMS Expo, which took place from September 15 to 17, was again a great success for windream GmbH. Instead of the expected decreasing number of visitors, the number of visitors at the windream stand was again as high as in previous years. Our partners are convinced that the DMS Expo is still a very important exhibition of the ECM-branch, because: Where else can visitors see so much know-how?

Reinhard Sczesny, Application & Project Manager Solutions of our partner Konica Minolta, said: “Especially on the second and third day of the fair we observed an increasing number of visitors, and we can say that customers are more and more interested in unified solutions. Because of this, the interaction of hardware and software solutions plays an important role.“

Visitors are well informed

It is interesting to see that the visitors are much more competent than in the years before, especially when considering the unified solutions quoted above. Isolated ECM-products are not sufficient. Instead, the integration of different application sectors like e.g. e-mail archiving, Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server, Information Lifecycle Management, automised document indexing, web-based solutions and the interaction of hardware and software components play a very important role.

“ECM now!“ at the windream stand

The ECM now! marketing campaign of the seven ECM-suppliers also started with the DMS Expo simultaneously. As a first event, the ECM-guide was given to visitors at the windream stand. The stand also showed an illuminated box presenting the “ECM now!“ logo and slogan. With the product portfolio presented on the DMS Expo, windream is well prepared for the increasing requirements of the market – and this is also a conclusion for our fair attendance this year and a confirmation of the fact that we have chosen the right product strategy.
