DMS EXPO: steady flow of visitors at the windream stand

Trade fair visitors systematically informed themselves on windream ECM solutions

This year’s DMS Expo, which took place from September 20 to 22 on the grounds of the Landesmesse in Stuttgart, once again brought us into contact with numerous visitors and potential customers, who systematically informed themselves on our ECM solutions. But that’s not all: During the three eventful days of the trade fair, our co-exhibitors and us were able to welcome many customers and partners.

The number of visitors even exceeded the high quota of last year in quality. Once again, the competence of the visitors who systematically informed themselves on our products at the windream stand proved exceptionally high. It also showed that many companies are planning to invest in electronic document management and ECM systems as a fixed portion of their budgets. We were, of course, very pleased to note these trends.

Highlight: complete integration of the windream ECM software into the Konica Minolta bizhub systems

Especially our new solution for the bizhub multi-function systems by Konica Minolta – the so-called windream bizhub connect – elicited the interest of the trade fair audience, which also showed in the positive press coverage on this solution.

The solution seamlessly connects the windream ECM system with the Konica Minolta bizhub systems. At the DMS EXPO, many of our visitors took the opportunity to enjoy presentations of a complete windream-bizhub-connect system.

Furthermore, our product portfolio, presented in conjunction with our co-exhibiting partners, was not the only thing to trigger the audience’s attention. Our long-time activities as a DMS EXPO gold sponsor, too, caused us to be acknowledged as one of the nationally leading ECM producers.

Premiere: Currywurst, Westphalian vs. Swabian style

Our trade fair party for customers, partners and friends of our company, which traditionally took place at the end of the second trade fair day again, offered a premiere: For the first time, visitors could choose between Currywurst, Swabian style, or Westphalian / Bochum style. The Bochum Currywurst, which is – also traditionally – produced by the Bochum butchery Dönninghaus, includ-ing its famous spicy sauce, was ”flown in“ from Bochum especially for our party. This way, our hungry party guests were able to decide once and for all which of the two regional Currywurst specialties really is the best. This created an entertaining diversion for our customers, partners and friends. The results of the vote, however, are still pending...

Trade Fair Opinions and Impressions

Our co-exhibiting partners and us are looking back on three eventful trade fair days.

Reinhard Sczesny, Application & Project Manager Solutions, Konica Minolta: “In our opinion, the trade fair program presented in conjunction with windream on the DMS EXPO is still unique. With the help of seamlessly integrated systems, consisting of Konica Minolta multifunction devices and the windream ECM software, visitors were able to inform themselves on the entire spectrum of Enterprise Content Management. This was received exceedingly well by the interested and competent trade fair audience.“

Klaus Marx, executive director of One Click Solutions GmbH: “The DMS EXPO 2011 once again proved advantageous for us. We were able to convince many visitors of the convenience and efficiency of capturing receipts with our learning capturing software AutoClick, whether in auditing or for in-box solutions. Our on-site presentation of the process “Scan – Capture – Archive“ with products by windream and Konica Minolta attracted many interested visitors.“

Matthias Weber, Manager Partner Sales DACH of ReadSoft GmbH: “For ReadSoft, the DMS EXPO was a great success. Not only did we engage in numerous discussions with potential customers during the three trade fair days, we also had the possibility to get to know the windream employees and partners personally. Our thanks go to the windream trade fair team, for their professional preparation and supervision of the event.“
