New case study

windream at the “International Office“ of the HTW Saarland

The Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (HTW, University of Applied Sciences of Saarland) in Saarbrücken uses windream in their so-called “International Of-fice“ to coordinate stays abroad for students and lecturers. The new case study describes the realization of the complex IT project in the context of a close cooperation of windream GmbH, the windream partner entplexit from Darmstadt, and the HTW Saarland.

For some years, windream GmbH has been successfully cooperating with the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (University of Applied Sciences of Saarland) in Saarbrück-en. In the course of time, a complex project has been realized in close cooperation with the Darm-stadt windream partner entplexit GmbH and under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Daniel F. Abawi, professor for informatics and business informatics. In the context of this project, the university successfully introduced the windream Enterprise Content Management system as well as the Business Process Management solution windream BPM at one of its institutes for the first time.

Actual processes and target processes

In the context of this project, Malte Jacobi, Masters Degree student of industrial engineering, has compiled a case study, supervised by Professor Abawi. The case study describes the implementa-tion of the windream ECM and BPM system into the organizational structure of the so-called "International Office" of the HTW – from the previous problems of the institute via the formulation of “target processes”, up to the introduction of the system. The complete case study can be found in the download section of the Infocenter on our homepage.
