CeBIT 2017: Prominent Visitors at the windream Stand

Bochum’s Mayor and the Director of the “Stadtwerke“ Are Informed about windream Software

Already on the first day of this year’s CeBIT important visitors were welcomed at the windream stand in hall 3: The mayor of the city of Bochum, Thomas Eiskirch together with both directors of the “Stadtwerke Bochum“, Dietmar Spohn and Frank Thiel, were informed about our pioneering document management solutions. As an especially positive aspect it was pointed out by the prominent visitors that the high quality business software is developed in Bochum!

Digitization in Companies Continues to Proceed

In general it can be said that visitor numbers at our windream stand were even higher this year than in the years before. This is striking evidence that the CeBIT concept and its business to business focus are absolutely up to date and comply with companies that want to streamline their business processes.
In numerous conversations with trade shows visitors it turned out that digitization continues to proceed rapidly in many companies. Many visitors already had concrete plans about how to organize their processes and document flows in the future. That was especially confirmed by our co-exhibiting partners that are as positive as we are about the outcome of this year’s CeBIT.

Practice-Oriented Presentations Nearly Full

The three presentations held by the experts of windream GmbH within the so called “Digital Office Stage“ of the Bitkom and the CeBIT in hall 3 were booked nearly fully. Based on selected practical example projects it was pointed out how digital processes can specifically be integrated into concrete company structures and enormous amounts of time can be saved. Cost reductions via faster execution of business relevant processes, a more flexible organization and optimization of business processes and by that a remarkably increased competitiveness were only some of many aspects dealt with in the presentations.

CeBIT 2018: New Concept and New Date

Next year’s CeBIT will not only, for the first time, take place in June but also have a completely new concept as the organizer surprisingly announced. ”We think that this decision is a bold move but we are in general positive towards this radical change,” Lars W. Steinhoff, our head of Marketing, answered a question asked by the press in the aftermath of this year’s trade show and stresses: “It is now of importance to shape the future design in a way that makes sense and is transparent for both exhibitors and visitors to make the future of the CeBIT a success.“
