CeBIT: One Click Solutions Presents In-Box Solution ClickPost and New AutoClick V4
February 20, 2012 | Syrgenstein – One Click Solutions GmbH is going to present their digital mail distribution software ClickPost for the first time at the CeBIT 2012 (hall 3/ stand J20). This software allows an automated digitalization and convenient distribution of incoming mail. A further highlight of the exhibition program is AutoClick V4, the most recent version of the learning capturing software produced by One Click Solutions. It now covers even more potential areas of use and will be demonstrated in the context of various workflows at the CeBIT 2012.
ClickPost is the newest One Click Solutions product and can manage the distribution of incoming mail in organizations on a digital basis. The potential savings offered by this solution are manifold: a manual distribution to employees becomes unnecessary; instead, the mail is distributed digitally. This way, forwarding mail to other employees or teams becomes quicker and more convenient, just like the distribution of mail to employees in branch offices or on business trips, which can now be carried out without any delays. Furthermore, mail can now be stored conveniently in ECM systems such as windream.
Many organizations and companies still distribute their incoming mail manually. This is time consuming and sometimes even ineffective: employees who are away from the office do not receive their mail, and sometimes mail is even sent to employees who are not responsible. Another inefficient, but still widely used practice contains the creation and circulation of copies, which may even be scanned and stored multiple times.
Security and convenience with ClickPost
This is how ClickPost optimizes in-box workflows: incoming mail is scanned in batches, without separators such as barcodes or blank pages. The ClickPost software then collects the scans from one or several file directories and automatically and independently separates the receipts. Documents can optionally be converted into searchable PDF/A files after the analysis.
The mail address of the recipient is then identified via an integrated lookup function and the document is sent per e-mail.
If the recipient cannot be clearly identified, e.g. when mail is only addressed to a department and not to a specific employee, the mail is sent to the corresponding department’s secretary or to a previously specified substitute.
This way, ClickPost supports the conversion of hardcopy documents to digital workflows at a very early point of the process, and allows an efficient use of the advantages of software-based processing.
New Functions
With version 4, One Click Solutions presents a further enhancement of the learning capturing software AutoClick, which now covers even more potential areas of use. New features such as an address recognition function and multi-processor capability have been integrated, and a new viewer technology offers a significantly optimized look & feel. For optical character recognition, the current version 10 of ABBYY FineReader has been integrated into AutoClick, which guarantees even better results for data capturing and barcode recognition.
Also, with the add-on Multiqueue, AutoClick can now process any desired number of clients. The capturing process can be configured individually for each client.
The various possibilities for configurations in AutoClick open up a variety of potential uses: from analyzing barcodes, via validating captured values and checking incoming invoices for compliance with value added tax law, up to reading position data of various length over several pages.
This way, AutoClick offers a variety of functions, also for accounting, e.g. by guaranteeing an automatic and efficient accounting process via workflows such as the windream BPM.
