May 9, 2011 | Bochum. – The windream partner Kiefel Informationssysteme GmbH & Co. KG based in Frankenberg near Chemnitz offers extensive workshop programs for medium-sized enterprises. The aim of the announced workshops is to inform the participating company representatives on important changes in the context of the “Steuervereinfachungsgesetz” (tax simplification law), presumably to take effect as of July 1, 2011. This law, among other things, will introduce the simplified sending of electronic invoices without digital signatures. In this context, Kiefel will present the possibilities that the ECM system windream with its integrated archiving functions offers for supporting medium-sized companies with the compliant archiving of business-related documents – especially invoices.
While sending electronic invoices used to be possible with a digital signature only – in order to be accepted by the tax office – the new law is generally expected to trigger a significant increase in the number of electronic invoices, since as of July, they can be sent without signatures. This, in turn, means that companies will have to face a rising number of electronic receipts to be managed and archived compliantly over long periods of time. In addition, prints in the form of archived hardcopy documents, which used to be received as electronic invoices, will not be compliant anymore as of July 1st..
Document management and archiving with windream
In this context an ECM and archiving system such as windream is of particular importance – especially because many, mostly medium-sized – companies are still not aware of the advantages of electronic archiving.
Therefore, Kiefel will extensively inform the workshop participants on topics such as the basics of document management, rights, obligations and requirements concerning the electronic handling of e-mails and files in companies, on concrete solutions with the ECM system windream in the sections of archiving, process management, personnel files, invoice and in-box management, electronic floating files, and on the configuration and administration of document life-cycles.
Workshop Dates
The workshops are planned as half-day events and will be taking place from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm at the headquarters of Kiefel Informationssysteme GmbH & Co. KG, an der Autobahn 6, in 09669 Frankenberg.
