Malberg presents BlackBerry client for windream
September 21, 2010 | Leipzig, Bochum. – For the first time ever, windream's integration partner "Malberg EDV-Systemberatung GmbH" situated at Leipzig will attend the windream partner stand on the DMS EXPO as one of windream's co-exhibitors in hall 7, stand B 11. Besides the CeBIT, Malberg will now also present their products and solutions on the most important fair for Enterprise Content, Output and Document Management. The most innovative product introduced on the DMS EXPO in Stuttgart by Malberg is the completely new windream client for BlackBerry Smartphones.
The BlackBerry integration of the windream services allows users to retrieve documents in the central windream document volume and to view information retrieved on mobile devices. In this context, users are able to retrieve and view documents precisely via the fulltext or via the index masks of the respective object type indicated on their Smartphones. Further on, the mobile client provides an integration into the Business Process Management System named windream BPM. This will enable e.g. external and mobile users to make approvals within business processes very quickly. This ensures an even quicker handling of internal processes.
Besides the windream ECM-system, a central module of the solution is the BlackBerry enterprise platform. With complex tools and applications, this platform offers companies and public authorities a whole variety of options to stay in close contact to any other department of the company.
With this solution, windream counts amongst one of the first ECM-suppliers ever which implements Smartphones as an integrated approach to allow users a mobile access to company-related information and data. For the future, Malberg plans to offer this mobile solution also for further Smartphone operating systems, such as Android and iPhone.
