Microsoft Corporation Renews windream Certificate
Close, Long-Term Cooperation Confirmed by Extended Certificate
February 21, 2011 | Bochum. – In their certification procedure for the “Gold“ section of the Microsoft partner program, Microsoft Corporation awarded windream GmbH, the Bochum supplier and producer of the Enterprise Content Management system windream, with the status of a Gold Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Gold Competency Partner. The US IT company thus confirms the close partnership that has been connecting the two companies for a long time.
Based on their cooperation with Microsoft, windream GmbH have been in close contact with Microsoft Corporation for many years, successfully cooperating with the German Microsoft quarters in Munich as well as with the corporate headquarters in Redmond, USA. windream already received the status of an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Gold Certified Partner in the past. With the renewed certification, windream GmbH now receive “Gold” status in the ISV sector, too, simultaneously being admitted as a Gold Competency Partner. In the future, this will lead to an even closer and more exclusive partnership.
Extensive Tests
The successful certification is based on extensive tests conducted by Microsoft, including e.g. the provision of a “Best-in-Class“ solution required by Microsoft and the naming of several reference customers. With their ECM system windream and with complete support of the Microsoft-specific Windows and SQL Server database technologies, windream GmbH passed all tests without the slightest deficit.

For managing ECM-specific data and documents in windream and due to the high degree of integration into Windows, the ECM system windream generally supports the Microsoft SQL Server database technology. Furthermore, windream GmbH offer further efficient software solutions directly based on Microsoft products. This includes an integration into the Microsoft SharePoint Server as well as e-mail archiving solutions for Microsoft Outlook and Exchange Servers and even specific windream ECM integrations into the ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics NAV and AX.
