"Your Documents – Your Capital"
January 24, 2012 | Bochum. – The Bochum ECM producer windream GmbH is dedicating their CeBIT presentation program to the motto “Your Documents – Your Capital“ this year. At the trade fair, the producer and vendor of the windream ECM system is going to show how companies can compliantly manage their entire knowledge with windream and why an investment into the future-proof and top-modern windream ECM system is a good investment.
As in previous years, the trade fair program will be complemented by new windream products. Among other things, this includes solutions for SAP integrations and new versions of the windream Exchange e-mail archiving solution, of the windream Web Portal, the business process management solution windream BPM and the windream integration into the bizhub multi-function systems of the windream partner Konica Minolta, named “windream bizhub connect”. The trade fair program is complemented by the presentation of hardware and software solutions of the co-exhibiting windream partners.
Security creates trust
From March 6 to 10, 2012, everything will be about the most important aspects of digital data management in the context of compliant Enterprise Content Management at the windream partner stand in hall 3, stand J 20. In this context, the focus will be put on the aspect of permanent data security. After all, security creates trust – and ECM users can only completely and utterly trust in the system of their choice if the security of the system is guaranteed at all times. Therefore, the windream trade fair team will demonstrate to the audience how data of all types can be archived compliantly, reliably and retrievably in windream. With this focus, windream GmbH also sticks closely to the guiding theme of this year’s CeBIT, "Managing Trust". Furthermore, managing the knowledge of entire companies always depends on the investment security offered by the use of an ECM system. The most important aspects of investment security include a compliant document store as well as the efficient archiving of e-mails, the protection from unauthorized access and manipulations, and the quick retrieval of documents – requirements that windream fulfills to a hundred per cent.
New solutions at the windream stand: from SAPcommand to Web Portal
windream GmbH is going to present many new products and product versions from their ECM portfolio at the CeBIT. The focus will be put on the presentation of the new SAP integration solution windream SAPcommand. windream SAPcommand seamlessly connects documents saved in the windream ECM system to SAP applications. In this context, scanned or electronically created incoming documents – e.g. Office documents or e-mails – as well as faxes and information already filed in windream can be archived compliantly and linked to SAP application documents. The new solution also allows users to link incoming documents on the basis of barcodes and to start SAP business workflows or SAP default capturing jobs. The interface between windream and SAP applications, named windream ArcLink for SAP, has been certified by SAP for almost 20 years and has recently been re-certified in the current version 5, too.
Further products to be presented at the CeBIT include a new version of the windream Exchange mail archiving solution, which now offers an extended integration into Microsoft Outlook Web Access. The newest version of the windream Web Portal offers an improved design which simplifies the handling even further. The client application of the business process management solution windream BPM now comes with a new design. Last but not least, the current version of the windream bizhub connect software will be presented, too. It directly connects the windream ECM system to the multi-function systems of the long-time windream partner Konica Minolta, once again a co-exhibitor at the windream partner stand in hall 3 this year.
Further partners at the windream stand
Next to Konica Minolta, other windream partners will be present at the windream stand, for example ES Computer with their ‘scan factory‘ and the windream solution provider One Click Solutions with their products ClickReader for windream, ClickWizard for windream and ClickScanner for windream. The windream partner ReadSoft AG from Frankfurt, a leading provider of solutions for automating and optimizing processes in SAP, will present the new version 7.1 of their solution "Process Director". With this flexible technology platform, companies can significantly improve their processes in the sections of financial accounting, purchase, and sales in terms of efficiency, transparency and cost-effectiveness. A novelty in version 7.1 of the Process Director: next to the processing of invoices, further processes can now be conveniently integrated, e.g. processes concerning standing data, financial accounting and incoming goods.
