Flexible data archiving in different scenarios

The transfer of data from windream to a cloud-compatible memory can be controlled fully automatically via the life cycle management integrated in windream. This allows you to determine exactly which data is to be archived in the cloud and which is not.

This option enables windream users to use Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure in the context of different scenarios: either as pure cloud storage or in hybrid mode as cloud and on-premises solution. Of course, the option remains to archive data only locally - outside a cloud - in windream. The cloud can then also be used, for example, as a pure backup solution to additionally secure documents stored in windream in the cloud.

The interface to Amazon S3 provides you as a windream user with another state-of-the-art option for integrating memory into your system.

In connection with the lifecycle management of the windream ECM system, the Azure and S3 connection is an extremely flexible solution for data storage and archiving, ranging from a simple backup to an audit-proof, sophisticated and complex Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).
