The race weekend at a glance
After a good position in qualifying for race 1 on Saturday (P10), a contact with another car already followed in turn 3 in the race itself and thus the end for the Audi R8 LMS of Team Aust.
In qualifying for race 2 on Sunday, Team Aust initially had bad luck with the tires, which ultimately meant a 27th place in qualifying. In the race itself, the two drivers Sebastian Asch and Daniel Keilwitz were able to fight their way up to 13th place thanks to different tires. After a 5-second penalty, the official result was 17th place.

*The race weekend at the Nürburgring was initially cancelled due to the severe weather disaster. A make-up date or an alternative location is currently being examined and will be published shortly.
