Seamless interaction between Windows 11 and windream

Bochum. As of today, the Windows operating system version 11 is available for the first customers. As a long-standing Microsoft partner, windream GmbH had the opportunity to test the compatibility of its ECM-system with the new release in advance. The "stress test" did not prove any incompatibilities - on the contrary: windream users can work even more productively with Windows 11, as the new functions of the operating system are fully supported.

Recently edited documents in the start menu - also with windream

As one of the most important Windows innovations, recently edited documents will be displayed directly in the start menu. This also applies to all documents which have either been copied or moved into the folder structures of a windream system or which have been newly created there. Thus, it is possible to call up these documents listed as "recently edited" in the start menu directly there, too.

The guarantor for the complete compatibility of windream to Windows 11 is still the patented VFS-driver (VFS = Virtual File System), which is called VFS-X in the new function for the windream Dynamic Workspace. As a virtual file system, it allows saving documents on a windream drive which behaves like a normal network drive under Windows.
