Highlights from the start of the season at Oschersleben

After 3rd place in free practice on Friday, qualifying was interrupted when the AUST team had just started their fast lap. During the race, the two drivers Daniel Keilwitz and Sebastian Asch were able to move up from 25th to 16th place! Sunday it came even harder: Sebastian Asch had an accident during qualifying. Unfortunately, it looked at first as if the Audi R8 LMS would not be able to participate in the race. But everyone in the team pitched in and made the impossible possible! On time for the start of the race at 4:30 p.m., the car was ready to go and was able to participate in the race from the pit lane. In the end, Daniel Keilwitz finished in 17th place, so all in all it was a very turbulent weekend. We are looking forward to the next race from 11 - 13.6 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

A big thank you to windream GmbH for making such an impressive experience possible!

Impressions from the Red Bull Ring

The second turbulent race weekend has come to an end. After Team Aust was able to make up 5 positions in the race on Saturday, a drive-through penalty ultimately pushed the team back to 22nd place. On Sunday there were several accidents and safety car phases, so that the race could never really get into flow. Team Aust started the very nerve-wracking race from 18th place. Daniel Keilwitz and Sebastian Asch fought their way to the front in the Audi to finish 12th, but that didn't last long. Sebastian Asch was involved in a collision and unfortunately could not continue the race.

Highlights of the 3rd race weekend at Zandvoort

After a good position in qualifying for race 1 on Saturday (P10), a contact with another car already followed in turn 3 in the race itself and thus the end for the Audi R8 LMS of Team Aust. In qualifying for race 2 on Sunday, Team Aust initially had bad luck with the tires, which ultimately meant a 27th place in qualifying. In the race itself, the two drivers Sebastian Asch and Daniel Keilwitz were able to fight their way up to 13th place. After a 5-second penalty, the official result was 17th place.

Impressions from Lausitzring

After a furious race on Saturday with a safety car phase and interruption, Sebastian Asch and Daniel Keilwitz drove their race undeterred and ended up in 12th place. Things went even better in the second race of the weekend on Sunday. Here, the two Aust Motorsport drivers delivered a thrilling race and achieved their first top ten finish this season!

Another highlight of the race weekend was delivered by Sebastian Asch together with his father. Have a look:
